Evans Announces Re-Election for City Council
Coeur d'Alene, ID — Longtime community advocate and dedicated public servant Amy Evans is proud to announce her campaign for re-election to the Coeur d'Alene City Council. With 12 years of experience on the Council and a lifetime of service to her community, Evans is ready to continue working for a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable Coeur d'Alene.
A native Idahoan and current Vice President of Idaho Youth Ranch, Evans has built a reputation as a tireless leader with a deep commitment to thoughtful growth, education, and quality of life. Her civic involvement spans decades, including six years on the City’s Planning Commission, and leadership in preserving a historic downtown school.
Evans currently serves:
- As a three-term City Council member (12 years)
- On the Ignite CDA Board
- On the Coeur d'Alene Bike and Pedestrian Committee
- On the Coeur d'Alene Arts Commission
- As Chair of the Coeur d'Alene General Services Committee
Her campaign priorities include:
- Creating good jobs and supporting local businesses
- Work to maintain viable housing opportunities for all citizens
- Expanding recreational and cultural opportunities
- Preserving the unique charm and livability of Coeur d'Alene
